Stacey Russell

Stacey is a Brisbane-based photographer specialising in natural light photography for both emerging and established fashion brands.

In 2009, after studying photography in Toowoomba and graduating as ‘Student of the Year’, Stacey moved from her countryside hometown of Warwick to the cityscapes of Brisbane. Kick-starting her career in fashion photography Stacey won ‘Project Be Styled’, a Westfield competition for emerging fashion photographers, and placed in the top 3 finalists for photography in the Qantas ‘Spirit Of Youth Awards’.

Her work is vibrant, colourful, atmospheric and on-trend. With masterful use of natural light on location and a candid approach to photographing models, her mix of edgy and feminine imagery creates a sense of nostalgia which resonates with the viewer and encompasses the youthful brands she works with.
